A lot of women think because they sometimes cook for their man, sometimes give him sex, sometimes act feminine, clean the house here and there, and do nice things for him every now and then that automatically means they submit.

It doesn’t.

A lot of these women are inconsistent with everything.

Sometimes they act right.
Sometimes they’re feminine.
Sometimes they serve him.
Sometimes they give him sex.
Sometimes they respect what he says.

Everything is half-assed.

Then they use those little moments to convince themselves, “See, I submit to my man.”

Meanwhile they still overtalk him, fight his leadership, go against what he says, disrespect him when they don’t get their way, and make his life harder whenever his decisions don’t line up with what they want.

Submission is not something you do every now and then.

It shows in how you consistently respond to your man’s authority, especially when you disagree.

If she doesn’t respect that man and follow his lead in everything, then she ain’t submitting to him.

And if she keeps fighting his leadership while claiming she respects him, her actions are telling the truth.

She doesn’t respect him at all.

Envy and jealousy is an ugly spirit. God warns us about it for a reason. It’ll steal your joy and have you looking at everybody else instead of appreciating your own life. Be thankful for what you have, and learn to be content with who you are.

What if your marriage is struggling because nobody

What if your marriage is struggling because nobody ever taught you how to actually be a wife?

We hear a lot about what a husband should provide, how he should lead, protect and care for his family. But biblical marriage also gives the wife a role. We’re called to submit to our husbands, reverence them, be their help, and do them good.

Sometimes we have to stop asking, “What isn’t he doing for me?” and ask, “Am I being the wife God called me to be?”
